We are a group of activists, researchers, lawyers and students who came together to collectively track the rapidly evolving situation after the nation-wide lockdown was announced in light of COVID-19 outbreak.
The central government, state governments and courts responded to the fallout effect of this lockdown by announcing different social security measures to cushion its impact on the population, particularly focusing on the most vulnerable, poor, migrants, under-trials etc.
Our objective has been to make these orders available with a user friendly interface and summaries. We hope that the information will be useful for the public at large, civil society organisations, journalists, activists, social movements and researchers to ensure that these measures are accessible to those in need and to track implementation to hold respective governments accountable.
